Frank Ewart and G.T. Haywood. Then arose another man, Frank Ewart, along with G.T. Haywood. And they formed= the UPC, which is the United<= /st1:PlaceName> Pentecostal Church and the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. So this is the root of the United Pentecostal Church. A man who j= oined with them was Howard Go= ss who had been a co-founder of the Assemblies of God. They were responsible for getting toge= ther and forming the United Pentecostal Assembly. 

Now the years are passing, it keeps going up. We are coming up the one hundred years of Pentecostalism. We have a man called Haywood. And he said, “You know what? I have a church called Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. It’= ll pass every one of you. We are Pentecostal of the World.” So that went= on.

William Durham. Then another man= arose whose name was William Durham<= /st1:City>. And a new outpouring struck during that time of William Durham. He preached= the “finished work.” He went a little higher in doctrine and started preaching about predestination and eternal security and started talking abo= ut the finished work of Calvary. I tell you= he got some opposition; terrible opposition.

I have a listing = here of some of these men. Probably you’ve heard their names. Smith Wigglesworth. We had a great ma= n that arose called Smith Wigglesworth. He only died in 1947. 

Parham. They have Parham as “Father of Modern Pentecostalism.” And Parham, for your information, died in 1929. 

William J. Seymour died in 1922. 

Bishop R. A. R. Johnson. And then we had another man, Bishop R. A. R.
